I never really resembled anyone in my family.
My sisters looked like each other. And consequently like my dad.
But me — people used to stare at me and ask …
‘Where did she come from’

But now … well … this is my new{ish} little cousin.
And I have such a deep love for this little guy.
My heart bursts whenever I see a picture of him.
I felt a deep connection & love for him right from the start.
Well, his mommy says it may be because he looks a little like me.
