Good Day New York!

I just know today is going to be an electric day.

Maybe I feel this way because this is my first outfit post and I have been itching/debating whether to do one a la Jessica …

Soooooo … this coat is my new favorite accessory. It makes any outfit look infinitely better {because the truth is I have a comfy-caj job and sometimes rock the pj’s to work}. And I get compliments on the street from strangers which is both endearing and odd … I mean this in NYC …

I don’t even care that it is totally impractical for a NY winter coat. Sure, it is short sleeves, but I will buy long sleeves to wear underneath …

I mean that belt {!!} and that neck {!!} … plus I now have a place to wear all my long forgotten grandma brooches.

And paired with my clearance-priced {I was informed by the sales girl that orange is a summer color}, super-duper soft textured orange bag …

and HUGE Fossil diamond studded watch and super spacey ring … Let’s just say I feel pulled-together today! Which is hard for me considering my housing situation {Linked here in a pictorial blog post}.

Minus my much-loved shoes that need to {sadly} be replaced. Opinions? {I lurve them! Good or bad, as long as it’s constructive … }
