My Favorite First Line From a Novel …
This is from Colette’s first novel ‘claudine a l’ecole’ {Claudine at School}. Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette was a French authoress in the late 1800s — early/mid 1900s; and one of my most favorite writers of all time. When she writes, her lines flow like a song full and rich of description, color, emotion, and movement. Since I seem to:
A.) be eating up books at an alarming rate B.) constantly underlining favorite passages of a book in order to share them C.) always wishing for someone to discuss my reads with…I have decided to start putting into words my feelings on these novels. You can head on over here and comment on my current picks/reviews, or recommend some new books {b/c I am always needing a new one!}.

- If everything is equally important, then nothing is very important.
- Don’t over-think a problem.
- Start with what you know; then remove the unknowns.
- Don’t forget your goal.
- When you throw your weight around, you usually fall off balance.
- The road to hell is paved with good intentions; or, no good deed goes unpunished.
- It all comes down to output.
- The rest of the world counts.

Send me a box {or two} of Girl Scout Samoas, sealed with a kiss …
Anonymous Male CoWorker:
“When I was single I always kept a package of Samoas on my desk. It is like the universal cookie — all the women in the office would swing by for one.”
Ah ha ha ha ha! Yummy Scrumboes!
