Inspiration: Dark Bathrooms; Bright Idea
In my new house,
there are some extremely small bathrooms.
Of which, one is completely and totally mine …
And my mind is heading into dark territory.

An Artistic Seaside Escape
My husband always says
I would cover every single square inch of wall {a la Herb & Dorothy}
in every single room of our house with art, if he would let me.
And the truth is I would. No doubt.
My latest crush is Nick Hais …

I was fortunate enough to view some pieces first hand while on vaca.
And the texture. The color. The realism.
The whimsy. The web does not do this man justice!
I was in love.
However, not with the price tag.
Thus, I was forced to walk away empty handed.

But still … check out Nick Hais.

The way to rouse a designer is to allow the freedom to create.
I recently came across this art set …
and as a designer I know that I take my art to heart,
and I am destroyed when someone wants to change it,
or simply ignore why I designed something a certain way,
but after seeing these …
I at least know I am not alone in my feelings.
Plus, they made me laugh!
Cheers to all you designers out there. Here’s a giggle.
Happy Friday, Mon Amis!
One of my favorite sorority sisters actually has a related post today, about respect in the workspace and in life. Check my buddy K.K. out here. {Careful there is an image shown — NSFW!}{Images found on Design You Trust aka my new favorite blog}
