Do I Look Older? Wiser? … Am I an Adult Now?

Probably not. I don’t think adults eat cupcakes for breakfast.

Frank supports my bad habits though. Yum!

My birthday was filled with all the best things of life,

brightly-colored presents, cake, and drinks a-flowing.

{Thanks to everyone for all the heart-felt well-wishes!}

Maybe aging isn’t so bad,

but I stop counting after 30 …

Seventh Inning Stretch

I loathe sports. Probably because I just don’t understand the rules.

… all except one. Baseball. I get baseball.

I’ve been watching the Mets since diapers with my pops.

Saturday was my first trip to the new Citifield.

Hot dogs, fries with mayo, ice cream, David Wright …

it was perfect!

Even though the good ‘ol Metropolitans lost,

they are still #1 in my heart!

Nantucket Natural Oils {aka Carolann’s Mecca}

Speaking of things aromatic & amazing,

Nantucket Natural Oils is my idea of heaven in a bottle, literally.

I was able to walk the shop

and smell hundreds of different scents

all to my little hearts content.

There were oils for body perfumes, for air freshening,

and even some to eat! Believe me, Basil in a bottle smells yummy-o!

This was the owner, John, and he was very knoweldgeable

and patient with me saying, ‘oh can I smell just one more??!?’

… about oh, 60 times!

I ended up buying two scents for myself,

and one delicious cologne for my husband.

I wish I could have just packed up the store …

but luckily he will ship new items to me in the future.

Smellsssss like a plan!
