No? You must not be a socialite.
I know I’m not.
But thanks to the CW — I now know this is dear Tinsley.
And she hangs out with some of the most obnoxious people on the planet.
NO exaggeration.
It is called ‘High Society’.
And while it is no classic a la the Frankie Sinatra gem below …


Let me tell you — it is definitely amusing.
Have you ever watched this gem?

I mean what are these people thinking!
Why, why, why {!!!!}
if you don’t need a paycheck,
would you embarrases yourself in this way.
And why can’t the CW make this an hour long show.
Because although I do not own any name brand purses,
will never afford a pair of jimmy choos,
or be invited to any of these fancy pants soirées,
I will never stop laughing at the lengths these people
— people who already have ‘everything’ -
go to become famous.
The society world is best described in these words from Tinsley’s ex:

“It’s not necessarily the type of goal that anybody should strive for, going out every night for the sake of self-promotion and getting their pictures taken,” Mr. Mortimer said {via NYTimes}. “And I mean, these are girls who went to good colleges. You would think they’d have something better to do … I’m just saying, when you live for the show of it, you live with an audience.”
Wow. Watch it. It will amuse …
