Birthday parties call for bold, bright colors …

esp. a first birthday party!

I recently purchased this striped sweater

{on sale because it was ‘out of season’ — woot! Score!}

and figured it would be perfect for the event.
I have to say I am love love loving it.

I feel put together and friendly,

without feeling constricted and uncomfortable.

Plus, it turns out first birthday parties are not only for the kiddies

There was plenty for us kid-less wanderers to enjoy as well.
